About the SDCAC
This program is designed for organization who have an
effective management system, but want to avoid paying high Registrar
fees. This program promotes Quality/Environmental Management Systems and
strives to ensure continual improvement in those systems. Our role is to
keep organizations moving in the right direction. Our program includes metrics
not found in the standards, but important to assist you in your continuous
improvement efforts. On a yearly basis, we review your progress and make
recommendations. We randomly select organizations for an on-site
assessment. This will help both of us working for your benefit.
If you are looking for a way to avoid registration, and
do not have the self-discipline to effectively maintain a Quality or
Environmental Management System, then this program is not for you! If
you have an effective Quality or Environmental Management System, and
are completely satisfied with your improvement efforts, then this
program is not for you. We are looking for organizations who have the
self-discipline, to maintain their own management system, but would like
a low-cost method of keeping on course, and/or looking for an outside
resource to provide that little extra encouragement and direction to
maximize your internal efforts.
